Nature and wild fauna are all around us. Although many species of wild animals look very beautiful, the same can be very dangerous for humans. However most of them are endangered species, or we can say that they are one of the rarest animals that we have seen at least once, or have never seen them because they are in very small number.
There are many kinds of endangered animals which are about to disappear and all of these animals are considered to be the world’s rarest animals. Thanks to the many national parks around the world, who take care of these kinds of rare animals in order to multiply them and to reduce the number of the rarest animals in the world. Animals so rare that almost will be considered in the history of extinct species of animals, just as we consider the dinosaurs today. - Iberian Lynx
Тhis is definitely the world’s most rare cat which whom only 309 live in the wild. This cat has a short tail, tufted ears and a ruff of fur beneath the chin. The length of this rare type of cat ranges from 85 to 110 cm tall, with weight in males of 13 or 27 pounds, and in females up to 10 pounds. They mostly hunt small animals no larger than hare and rabbit.
- Red Wolf
Morphologically this may be a hybrid animal, because it is in the middle between the gray wolf and coyotes. The length of the Red Wolf is 110 to 165 centimeters and weighing 16 to 41 kg. Males are about 10 percent larger than females. This rare wolf is living along the southeast Atlantic and Gulf to the north by the Ohio River and central Pennsylvania.
- Jamaican Iguana
One of the largest species of reptiles where the males reach a length of 50 cm and females up to 37 cm. This Iguana is primarily with green – blue colour and with darker olive color on the shoulders. In 1940 it was believed that this type iguana is extinct.Then in 1990, studies have shown that there are 50 survivors and now are considered one of the world’s rarest lizards.
- Tonkin Snub-Nosed Monkey
This kind of monkey was thought to be extinct species until its unveiling in 1992. Well today is one of the world’s most protected animals because it belongs to the list of the most endangered species of animals which before extinction. They live in evergreen forests associated with steep hills and mountains and has less than 250 left.
- Gooty Tarantula
This kind of spider with blue metallic colour can be found in central and southern India which is known by the name as Gooty Tarantula. They mostly live in the holes of tall trees in the forests where they make cobweb such as asymmetric funnels. Their main prey are flying insects that entanglement in their cobweb and then paralyze. The venom of this spider for us humans is no life-threatening, just causes headache, sweating, cramps and swelling that can last even a week.
- Rio Pescado Stubfoot Toad
Atelopus balios more known as the Rio Pescado Stubfoot Toad’s kind of toad family Bufonidae. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and rivers. This colored frog is one of the most endangered species that are before extinction.
- Singapore Freshwater Crab
There are still around 1300 freshwater crabs that live distributed in tropical and subtropical regions of the country mostly adapted in fresh waters. Their beds consist of only a few hundred eggs. The diameter of an egg from this type of crabs is 1 millimeter.
- Baiji Dolphin
One of the smallest species of dolphins. In this kind of dolphins adult males reaches a length of up to 2.3 meters, and females up to 2.5 meters and weighing 135 to 230 pounds. They live in the fresh waters of the Yangtze river in China. These river dolphins may be white, pink, black, gray, brown or yellow in color. Males reach their sexual maturity at 4 years old, and females at age 6.
- Angel Shark
This so called Angelic Shark lives in temperate and tropical seas. They have a good camouflage burying in the sand waiting in ambush their prey, which can be, fish, crabs and various species of molluscs. The length of this shark reaches 1.5 to 2 meters. This shark is not a threat for us, because it lives at the bottom, but you should never provoke, because it can bite you if you get too close to the head.
